Colada Decorative Rapier – The Sword of El Cid (57 cm)
Details That Tell a Story
Although it is a shorter replica (total length 57 cm), it does not lack essential details. The inscription "YO SOY LA COLADA" (I am Colada) is clearly etched or cast onto the blade, confirming the weapon's identity. The blade is made of a zinc alloy and non-ferrous metals, ensuring it won't rust on your wall and will always look like polished steel.
The hilt is richly decorated. The guard features intricate loops typical of Renaissance weapons, protecting the hand. The grip has a texture imitating wire wrap, ensuring a historical look and a good visual impression. The pommel ends in a massive sphere, visually balancing the weapon.
For Display Only
Please bear in mind that this sword is strictly decorative. The blade is cast from an alloy that is brittle. It is not intended for bending, chopping, or fencing. Any impact could lead to the material breaking. It serves for display on a shelf, wall, or as a costume accessory where there is no risk of contact combat.
