Robin Hood, a folk hero also known in lore as Robert of Locksley, was according to legend born in Nottingham around 1160 during the reign of King Henry II. In the deep woods of Sherwood, he stood against Norman oppressors and the tyranny of Regent John Lackland while King Richard the Lionheart was fighting on the Crusade. This sword combines the raw elegance of a medieval weapon with rich decorative artwork. The hilt, featuring a textured grip, is equipped with a massive hexagonal pommel with a rose relief and downward-curved quillons. The hilt surface features a patinated steel finish, giving the weapon a more authentic, battle-tested appearance. The stainless steel blade is adorned with detailed etched heraldic coat-of-arms motifs. The product originates from the famous workshops of Toledo, Spain – a city with an immeasurably rich tradition of blacksmithing and sword-making. We strongly advise you that, for safety and structural reasons, this is a purely decorative item unsuitable for real use, fencing, or cutting!
