John Lee Imori Katana Sword

Imori stands for alpine newt in Japanese. The handforged blade without fuller (Bo-Hi) is made of 1045 carbon steel (which is not stainless), the blade collar is brass. The fittings are black, decorated with the golden newt. Grip-wrap is Katate Maki-Style (War-wrap) made of blue cotton, under which real ray skin is underlayed. Two dowels (Mekugi) fix the blade in the grip. The Imori Katana will be delivered in a collector`s box. More information...
