Detailed Description of the Sword
This wakizashi is fantasy made manifest. Every detail has been designed to form a perfect, thematic whole with its shorter dagger companion.
Handle and Guard – The Dragon's Power
The handle (tsuka) has a black texture reminiscent of dragon skin and is topped with a massive pommel in the shape of a dragon's head. However, the most captivating feature is the guard (tsuba), which takes the form of a dragon coiling around the blade. Its body creates a full handguard, making this piece a truly unique collector's item.
Blade and Scabbard
The gently curved wakizashi blade is made of high-quality 440 stainless steel, hardened to 47-51 HRC. Its surface is decorated with an etched wavy pattern. The black lacquered scabbard (saya) is fitted with richly decorated metal accessories featuring motifs of demons or guardians. The central part is wrapped in a decorative black, gold, and white textile and tied with a cord (sageo).
