A detailed look at this sword reveals the impressive guard (*Tsuba*). It is made from blackened metal and bears a detailed relief motif of a mythical beast (perhaps a wolf or dragon) with silver and gold accents. This element gives the sword a unique and martial character. The handle (*Tsuka*) is wrapped with a traditional cotton cord in the classic *Hineri-Maki* style.
The black lacquered scabbard (*Saya*) is made of wood, and its surface is polished to a high gloss, underscoring the elegance of the entire set. The purple *Sageo* cord perfectly matches the handle wrap. A protective cloth bag is also included in the delivery, which will protect the sword from dust and scratches when you're not displaying it.
This katana is primarily intended for collection purposes, practising forms (*kata*), or for cutting tests (*Tameshigiri*) on soft targets (e.g., *tatami* mats). 1045 steel is tough but softer than higher-carbon steels. It is not designed for contact sparring or cutting hard objects!

Care Instructions
A carbon steel blade requires regular maintenance to prevent rust. After each use, especially after cutting, carefully clean and dry the blade. We recommend wiping it regularly with a cloth dampened with oil (e.g., weapon maintenance oil). Do not leave the sword in the scabbard in a damp environment for long periods. Store it in a dry place.
Important: Never touch the blade with your bare hands! Sweat and oils from your skin can cause immediate corrosion.
