Women's Medieval Shift – Natural Cotton Chemise
The Medieval Woman's Second Skin
Historically, this type of garment was worn directly on the body and was often the only piece of clothing washed regularly. This replica is made of 100% cotton with a weave structure that faithfully mimics linen fabric. You get the authentic look of linen with the softness and easy maintenance of cotton. The fabric comes in a natural (ecru) shade, but if you desire a different color, this material takes dye very well.
Customizable Fit
One of the key features of this shift is its length. Both the sleeves and the total length are intentionally made about 5 to 10 cm (2-4 inches) longer than standard. This gives you the unique opportunity to hem it exactly according to your height and arm length, ensuring the shift fits you perfectly without dragging or bunching up unwantedly.
