Cotton Velvet Care And Safety
Natural cotton velvet is exceptionally soft and breathable, but it requires your careful attention, my friend. We recommend professional dry cleaning or careful hand washing in lukewarm water at a maximum of 30 °C (86 °F). Please follow the cleaning and maintenance instructions. Never tumble dry the dress or leave it in direct sunlight, so the rich colours do not fade. Iron exclusively from the reverse side on the lowest setting or use a garment steamer to avoid crushing the fine pile of the velvet. We strongly warn you against moving too close to an open fire or naked flame – untreated cotton is a highly flammable material.
