One-hand Sword Jorik
The blade of the sword is made of spring steel CSN 14260, which has been hardened in an oil bath to approx. 47 HRC, ensuring its high durability and flexibility. Weighing approx. 2.20 kg, the sword lies comfortably in the hand and can be guided precisely. The cross guard of the sword is approx. 24.5 cm long and effectively protects your hand from your opponent's attacks. Its shape and design, together with the pommel, which is also made of steel (cast or forged), give the sword an authentic historical look. The wooden-lined and thick leather-wrapped grip guarantees a firm and comfortable hold.
In terms of historical classification, the Jorik is close to the swords of the late Middle Ages, particularly the types that fall under the Oakeshott classification type XIV or XV, with a massive blade with a triangular cross-section and a shortened grip with a large pommel.
If you order a version of the sword intended for historical or stage fencing, you can look forward to a blade with a thickened edge (2-3 mm) and a rounded point that allows you to perform safe contact fencing duels.
The Jorik sword is ideal for historical re-enactment, stage fencing, LARP events or simply as an impressive decoration. Its authentic look and high-quality workmanship make it a great accessory for anyone interested in history and sword fighting.
When using the sword, safety is of the utmost importance. Although the Jorik has been made with great care, you should always remember that it is a weapon. Never point it at people and always use protective equipment when sword fighting. Check the condition of the blade before each use and file down any sharp edges. Keep the sword out of reach of children. Although the manufacturer offers a warranty against defects in materials, we are not responsible for any injuries or damages resulting from the use of the sword.
With the Jorik sword in your hand, you will feel like a real knight. Its quality, design and authenticity are sure to impress you.
