An Arming jacket, also called Aketon, is similar to Gambeson. It is also a padded jacket which was worn in the Middle Ages under the armor. Arming jackets were not so extremely padded, cut shorter and fitted. Our very thoroughly elaborated arming jacket from 100% cotton has a thick, comfortable padding of 100% polyester.
