[1} mittlerweile ist der Gambeson bis heute, seit 2014, in Verbindung mit einem untergezogenen Brustschutz vor allem für das Rapierfechten im Einsatz und hat sich bzgl. Qualität und Lebensdauer bestes bewährt. Allerdings paßt er bald nicht mehr und muß durch einen Nachfolger mit etwas mehr Polsterung ersetzt werden.
