Natural Infantry Gambeson (12th–13th Century)
Designed for Battle and Marching
The gambeson features classic vertical quilting, which helps maintain its shape. A key feature is the high collar with side buttoning. This smart design prevents buttons from digging into your throat when wearing a mail coif or helmet. The lower section is split front and back, allowing unrestricted movement when running, kneeling, or riding.
Material and Comfort
The gambeson is made of 100% cotton, including the lining and padding. The outer fabric has a coarser texture imitating linen, giving you an authentic look with the benefits of cotton (softness, breathability). The padding thickness is approximately 5 mm (0.2 inches). This is a lighter variant that won't overheat you unnecessarily and allows for layering armour without loss of mobility.

- Clean stubborn stains (grass, mud, rust) by hand with a soft brush.
- Do not tumble dry; let air dry naturally.
