These gauntlets feature brass accents with an acorn motif and are based on an original artefact held in the National Archaeological Museum (Florence). It is believed that the original gauntlets were made in Milan Italy between 1370-1400.
Consequently, these gauntlets are most suitable for a late 14th to early 15th century Medieval re-enactment armour harnesses.
