These gauntlets feature brass accents with an acorn motif and are based on an original artefact held in the National Archaeological Museum (Florence). The gauntlets include a leather glove and are made from 16 gauge (approx. 1,6mm thick) steel. These functional gauntlets have a wide cuff and offer excellent freedom of movement. More information...

It is believed that the original gauntlets were made in Milan Italy between 1370-1400.
Consequently, these gauntlets are most suitable for a late 14th to early 15th century Medieval re-enactment armour harnesses.
