Collectible Cosplay Katana Yubashiri with a Unique Cross Tsuba
Sword Design and Craftsmanship
The weapon is designed to closely match its beloved fictional counterpart. The blade of the sword is made of high-quality carbon steel and features an aesthetic temper line (hamon). The decoration of the sword is highly specific. The handguard (tsuba) is shaped like a massive cross with cutouts and a brass finish. The handle (tsuka) is unconventionally wrapped horizontally with a solid black material, which is finished with an elegant pommel cap (kashira) and collar (fuchi) in the same brass hue as the guard. The sword is supplied with a beautiful wooden scabbard (saya), which is finished in a high-gloss black lacquer and fitted with metal details that perfectly complement the rest of the sword.
Important Usage and Safety Warning
This katana is produced exclusively as a decorative item and an accessory for Cosplay. It is under no circumstances intended for practical use, such as contact fencing (HEMA, LARP battles), cutting tests (tameshigiri), or martial arts training. The blade may be sharp, and therefore we strongly warn you against careless handling. Improper use carries the risk of serious or even fatal injury. Carbon Steel Maintenance
To ensure your katana remains beautiful for a long time and the blade does not succumb to rust, proper care is required. A carbon steel blade is susceptible to atmospheric moisture and the acids present in human sweat. After every time it is drawn from the scabbard or touched, wipe the blade carefully with a dry cloth and apply a thin layer of protective oil (ideally traditional clove oil choji or a modern gun oil). Do not expose the sword to extreme temperature fluctuations or humidity.
