Sandai Kitetsu Anime Katana: Roronoa Zoro's Cursed Blade
Red Design and Attention to Detail
This replica immediately catches the eye with its distinctive color scheme, faithfully copying its anime counterpart. The scabbard (saya) is made of hardwood and lacquered in a rich red color with black rings and golden fittings, exactly as you know it from the screen. The handle (tsuka) is covered with imitation ray skin and wrapped in red cotton cord, hiding golden ornaments (menuki) beneath. The iconic guard (tsuba) is shaped like an irregular golden cross/clover, which is typical for the Kitetsu.
The blade is made of carbon steel and features a two-tone finish that imitates the temper line (hamon) and the specific "fire" pattern characteristic of this cursed sword. Although the steel looks sturdy, please keep in mind that this is a decorative replica. It is not intended for cutting (tameshigiri) or combat. The tang construction is not designed to withstand impact, and the sword could be damaged.

Caring for Your Replica
To keep the sword looking beautiful, do not touch the blade with bare hands – sweat can cause corrosion on carbon steel. If this happens, wipe the blade clean and oil it with a preservative oil. The sword is delivered in a wooden transport box. This box serves primarily to protect the goods during shipping and is included in the price (free of charge); therefore, it may have minor cosmetic imperfections, which, however, do not affect the quality of the sword itself.
