In the hit manga and anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, elite slayers fight demons using special swords known as Nichirin. Kyojuro Rengoku, the indomitable and charismatic master of Flame Breathing, uses a sword that visually embodies the searing heat of his resolve. His weapon is distinguished by an iconic guard (tsuba) shaped like a leaping flame with a striking yellow, orange, and black colour scheme. The engraving on the blade near the guard bears the traditional motto of the elite slayers, and the edge itself is aesthetically highlighted by a wavy flame pattern.

The blade of this magnificent katana is made of high-quality carbon steel. Its surface is aesthetically treated with a dark lacquer, from which a characteristic line emerges, imitating a fiery hamon. Caring for Your Katana

Carbon steel is naturally susceptible to rust, and therefore the weapon requires regular care so it does not lose any of its beauty. The blade must be strictly protected from moisture and aggressive sweat from hands. After every handling, gently wipe the blade with a soft, dry cloth and apply a very thin layer of high-quality preservation oil (such as silicone oil). Due to the painted flame motif, absolutely avoid using abrasive pastes or traditional Japanese uchiko powder, which could scratch or completely wash away the decoration. The white wooden scabbard only needs to be dusted regularly with a clean microfibre cloth.
