Sword Emerence

The blade made of CSN 14260 spring steel, which has been hardened in an oil bath to approx. 47 HRC, promises the necessary durability and toughness for safe and dynamic fencing. The 22.5 cm long steel cross guard effectively protects the hand and gives the sword a classic look. The wooden-lined and leather-wrapped hilt guarantees a firm and comfortable grip.

The design of the sword, with its broad blade and prominent cross guard, is reminiscent of early medieval swords, particularly types from the Viking and early medieval periods in Europe. Although it is not a replica of any specific historical original, its characteristics and design are consistent with many European swords from the period. For this reason, it can be imagined as a weapon used in fencing demonstrations in historical costume.

This Czech product is designed for contact fencing, which corresponds to the rounded point and the 2-3 mm thick cutting edge of the blade. With Emerence's sword, you can gracefully reconstruct historical duels, perform stage fencing, or use it as a display piece in a home or private collection.
