The practical | battle-ready version of this sword has a blunt edge (2-3mm) and rounded point. Such sword was designed to be drawn in a battle or in a stage combat show.

We warranty our swords against all manufacturer's defects (workmanship and or materials) for a period of two years. This warranty applies only when the product is used under normal conditions for which the sword is designed, and does not apply to damage related to accident, misuse, improper care, negligence, and abnormal and/or excessive wear and tear.

Possible nicks in the blade edge are natural symptom of wear and tear and cannot be reclaimed. When they turn up, please remove all sharp nicks by use of diamond file, abrasive paper or grinding machine.

Loosening of a cross | guard cannot be in many cases avoided as well. It can be fixed by additional riveting or tightening the screw joint. Winding a fishing line around the blade tang into the gap between the grip and guard prove as helpful as well to many swordmen, when trying to fasten a loosened guard.

I bought the blunt version of this sword for use in HEMA. I thought of using it armored combat but I didn't realize when they meant narrow 3cm it really would be narrow. It's hard to describe until you see it in person. It's the same width at the shoulder as my Darkwood sidesword blade. So this feels like a two handed sidesword. Really to be honest it feels like a feder without a schilt. It's excellent, very agile. The pommel is oversized however my other fencers in my HEMA club liked that as it brought the balance point to just before the hilt. I wish the blade was a little wider at the cross guard with a slightly smaller pommel. However the narrow blade and oversized pommel do make this sword very precise in fencing. It's very agile for quick redirects tor snap cuts and quick thrusts around your opponents guard. On the downside its lack of blade presence makes it poor in the bind. I don't mind that. It's due to the blade being narrow and the pommel being too heavy. If you ever had one of those really long 42 inch narrow rapiers for fencing that are a little to flexible it's kind of like that with this sword. It feels a little too hilt heavy so precise strikes and thrust are easy however your opponent will most likely dominate you in the bind and easily push the sword out of the way. The only other improvements I'd like are a rolled tip and thicker edges. Stock edge is 2mm which is okay and does take a beating but will need regular filing and sanding as it is a bit thin. I wish it were 3mm. Overall great sword for HEMA. I don't know how it would be as a sharp as it is very flexible. A little too so but, it's not too flexible. Not as bad as a floppy 42 inch rapier blade but very similar in characteristics. If you want a feder for HEMA without the schilt this sword is a great option.

This sword has a 36" blade, weighs 3.5 pounds, and I can't believe how light it feels. It is definitely made to be swung with two hands, but so fast. It feels lighter than my katana. I wanted something that was quick like the rapier, yet had the length of the great sword, and could cut like the katana. This comes as close as possible to all of that with the emphasis on speed and quckness/recovery. The sword is extremely well-built, no cracks, warps, bends, rattles in the handguard, none of that. It looks - awesome. And I don't use that word often. It is like me - rough, a little bit crude, but gets the job done. This sword is capable of abuse. The blade, while not wide, is still thick enough to cut. I may not be a Witcher, but now I can at least look and swing a blade like one. Thumbs up! Great job guys. I will be getting another soon.
