Pointed Medieval Low Boots with Buckles – 12th to 15th Century
Timeless Design Proven by History
This type of ankle footwear is one of the most widespread patterns of the Middle Ages. The slightly extended toe (which lengthened and shortened over the centuries) adds elegance to the boot, while the system of two adjustable straps with brass buckles on the outer side ensures practicality. Thanks to the buckles, you can easily adjust the boot to the height of your instep and ankle circumference, which you will appreciate especially after walking all day when your feet might swell slightly.
The top edge of the boot is adorned with decorative stitching, which not only looks good but also reinforces the leather edge against stretching. The boots are ideal for historical fencing, LARP, cosplay, or medieval markets.
Quality Materials and Craftsmanship
The boots are sewn from quality natural cowhide. The leather is strong enough to protect the foot but also supple enough to adapt to your foot shape. The sole is made of hardened leather and attached to the upper using traditional methods.

Warning: Leather Sole
These boots feature an authentic smooth leather sole. This is excellent for historical accuracy and movement on grass or dirt, but the boots are slippery on modern smooth surfaces (tiles, asphalt, concrete, parquet). If you plan to wear the boots often in the city, on hard surfaces, or indoors, we strongly recommend having a cobbler add a thin rubber sole. This will increase your safety and significantly extend the life of the footwear.
Natural Leather Care
Since the product is made of natural material dyed using traditional methods, the surface texture or colour shade may vary slightly from piece to piece. Small scars or imperfections are a sign of the leather's authenticity, not a defect.
- Clean dirt from the boots with a damp cloth after every use.
- Regularly apply leather grease or beeswax balm to keep the leather soft and water-resistant.
- Never dry wet boots near a direct heat source (radiator, fire) – the leather would harden and crack. Dry them slowly at room temperature.
