The Accolade Sword of the Knights Templar
5xWe present to you a masterpiece inspired by the era of the Crusades. This magnificent ceremonial sword bears the famous, deeply etched Latin creed of the Knights Templar on its blade: "Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam" (Not to us, Lord, not to us, but to your name give the glory). This is a beautifully crafted replica of a weapon that the Grand Master of the Order himself might have used to knight new brothers into this holy order. The uniqueness of this piece is highlighted by a massive pommel shaped like a Templar seal and a deep red leather grip with precise wire wrapping. The weapon serves exclusively as a luxurious collector's decoration, adding a genuine medieval touch to your home interior or historical costume. Further product information ...

Decorative Ceremonial Templar Knight Sword Accolade with Belt
Historical Symbolism and Precise Craftsmanship
The sword is designed to reflect the 200-year legacy and military influence of the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon. The broad blade is hand-forged from 1065 high carbon steel. However, the greatest attention is drawn to the pommel. Both sides feature highly detailed reliefs based on historical Templar coins and seals. On one side, you will find the classic red cross pattée on a shield; on the other side is the famous motif of two heavily armed knights riding a single horse. This motif originally symbolized the order's vow of poverty and brotherly solidarity. The wooden grip is carefully covered with genuine red leather and tightly over-wrapped with wire for reinforcement and a perfect look.
Luxurious Scabbard and Knightly Belt
Along with this ceremonial sword, you will also receive a custom wooden scabbard. It is covered in highly durable and pleasant-to-touch nubuck leather in a dark brown shade. The set is completed by an elegant, historically styled leather belt for suspending the sword, adorned along its entire length with solid metal fittings shaped like Templar crosses. This allows you to display the weapon immediately or attach it to a historical garment.
Important Safety Warning
This sword is strictly a decorative item! Although its blade is made of high-quality 1065 carbon steel, for safety and structural reasons, the weapon is absolutely not suitable for practical use. It is completely unsuited for historical fencing, HEMA, LARP battles, cutting practices, or stage combat. Any impact against another weapon or target could damage the blade or loosen the hilt, posing a risk of serious injury to yourself and bystanders. The edge thickness is approximately 0.5 mm (0.02 inches), meaning it is not as blunt as purpose-built training weapons. Handle the sword with care and keep it out of the reach of children.
Care for Carbon Steel and Leather
To ensure this jewel lasts for many years in perfect condition, it requires regular maintenance. The 1065 steel is not stainless. The blade must be regularly treated with a thin layer of high-quality gun oil after every touch with bare hands, as well as during long-term indoor display, to prevent surface rust. We recommend occasionally nourishing the leather grip, scabbard, and belt with a special leather balsam containing beeswax to prevent the material from drying out and cracking.
