Craftsmanship and Symbolism
The experienced smiths at Windlass Steelcrafts® have dedicated exceptional care to each piece. The blade is hand-forged from 1075 high-carbon steel and features a prominent fuller along its entire length, which reduces its weight and increases flexibility. A cross symbol is etched into the blade near the guard. The genuine leather-wrapped hilt ensures a firm and comfortable grip.
- Engraved Guard: The steel crossguard is adorned with the engraved Latin phrase "CHRISTUS VINCIT" (Christ Conquers), a powerful Crusader motto.
- Pommel with Coin: The robust, disc-shaped steel pommel is inset with a coin that pays homage to Bohemond II, Prince of Antioch, a significant figure in Crusader history.
- Scabbard and Belt: The sword includes a custom-made, high-quality leather scabbard with a steel chape. The integrated belt is decorated with the seal and cross of the Knights Templar, enhancing the historical authenticity of the entire set.

Product Care
The high-carbon steel blade is susceptible to rust. To protect it, we recommend regularly cleaning the blade and applying a suitable oil, such as Ballistol. Treat the leather parts (hilt, scabbard, and belt) with leather care products to maintain their flexibility and appearance. Store the sword in a dry environment. Avoid striking hard objects, which could permanently damage the blade.
