Decorative Dragon Katana with Tokugawa Crests
Detailed Sword Description
Every part of this sword has been designed to tell a story, from the blade with historical crests to the epic dragon hilt.
Blade with the Seal of the Shoguns
The AISI 420 stainless steel blade is hardened and features a light edge for an authentic look. Its surface is adorned with a false, etched hamon. The most interesting feature, however, is the three golden crests (mon) stamped near the guard. These are the official seals of the Tokugawa clan and its founder, Ieyasu, one of the greatest shoguns in Japanese history. This detail gives the sword a touch of historical nobility.
The Hilt – A Sculptural Masterpiece
The hilt (tsuka) is undoubtedly the most striking feature. Instead of a traditional wrap, you will find a fully three-dimensional, hand-painted sculpture of two dragons winding around each other. The green scales, beige details, and red eyes of the dragons are crafted with incredible care, creating a breathtaking impression.
Guard and Scabbard
The large aluminum guard (tsuba) is electrolytically patinated and carries a dragon motif. On the black lacquered bamboo wood scabbard (saya), you will find decorative fittings (fuchi, kashira, kojiri) made of Zamak alloy, stylishly matching the rest of the sword.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Safety and Use
This sword is intended for decorative and collectible purposes ONLY. Although the blade has a sharpened edge for visual authenticity, its overall construction (materials, tang assembly) is not designed for any practical use. It is completely unsuitable for cutting tests (tameshigiri), fencing practice, contact sparring, or any other form of physical stress. It is an art object.
Caring for Your New Jewel
To maintain the sword's beauty, we recommend occasionally wiping the blade with a cloth lightly dampened with preservation oil to protect it from fingerprints. The decorated parts (hilt, fittings) can simply be gently dusted with a soft, dry brush.
