Detailed Description of the Sword
This katana is the largest and most impressive piece in the "Blue Dragon" series. Its design is a perfect balance between serene elegance and hidden power.
Design in Colors of the Sky and Sea
The handle (tsuka) and scabbard (saya) are attuned to calming tones. The handle is traditionally wrapped with a cotton cord (Ito) in a blue and cream color. The wooden scabbard is covered with a glossy dark blue lacquer and adorned with silver motifs. Its central part is also wrapped with a cord in the same style as the handle, which unifies the design of the entire set.
The Dragon, Guardian of the Sword
All metal fittings – the guard (tsuba), pommel (kashira), and collar (fuchi) – are made of Zamak alloy and have a patinated silver finish. The tsuba itself is shaped like a coiled Japanese dragon, symbolizing power, wisdom, and protection. The pommel is also adorned with a relief of a samurai warrior.
Blade of Toledan Steel
The long, gently curved katana blade is made of high-quality 440 stainless steel, hardened to 47-51 HRC. It is factory-blunted and intended strictly for decoration. Its clean, polished lines allow the beauty of the sword itself to shine.
