Viking Sword Wheeler type VI, Class D
The carbon steel blade of this sword is forged through to the pommel and riveted to the handle end. The tip is rounded. Pommel and cross guard are made of steel and are in the form (Wheeler type VI) to assign to the late tenth or early eleventh century.
