The Templars, or the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon, were founded in 1118 and became an elite military force of the Middle Ages. This sword reflects their splendour and spiritual dimension. On the hilt, you will find the iconic seal of two knights sitting on a single horse, originally symbolizing the order's poverty and brotherhood. The pommel bears the typical Templar cross pattée. The blade is adorned with the order's Latin motto: "Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam" (Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but to Thy name give glory).
Craftsmanship and Materials
The sword is a masterpiece of Spanish artisans. The blade is made of high-quality stainless steel (AISI 440), polished to a mirror shine, and decorated with intricate blackened etching featuring floral and heraldic motifs.
