The quillons are decorated with reliefs of beasts, symbolizing the strength of the British lion. The grip has a black finish with a distinct texture resembling quilted leather or chainmail, adorned with small floral rivets. The pommel is dominated by a detailed lion's head. The scabbard, made of durable black polymer, is fitted with hardware that repeats the motif of the lion guarding the royal crest.

Usage and Historical Context

Richard the Lionheart was known for his extraordinary courage, which this dagger symbolizes. Although it is a loose interpretation of historical weapons (historicism/fantasy), its style fits perfectly into the High Middle Ages (12th–13th century).
