A Blend of Elegance and Functionality for LARP and Cosplay
This armour is a masterpiece of leather craftsmanship, designed specifically for LARP, theatrical performances, and elaborate costumes. The base consists of robust buffalo leather, approx. 3 mm (1/8 inch) thick, crafted into overlapping scales reminiscent of leaves or dragon skin. This construction not only looks fantastic but also effectively distributes the impact of foam weapons.
A major advantage of this armour is its adjustability. On the sides of the torso, you will find a total of 12 straps with buckles, allowing you to fit the armour precisely to your body shape. This ensures a snug fit without slipping, granting you the maximum dynamic movement you need as an elven warrior or scout. The pauldrons are detachable and attach to the torso via lacing and straps, giving you versatility when assembling your outfit.

In the context of fantasy worlds, this type of armour is iconic for elves, druids, and rangers who prefer materials harvested from nature over cold dwarven steel. Although the leather is thick and durable, please keep in mind that this is costume armour designed for LARP and stage combat. It is not constructed as protective gear for full-contact combat with steel weapons (such as Buhurt) and does not guarantee protection against injury in such scenarios.
Care Instructions for Leather Armour
To ensure your armour serves you well for many years, it requires proper care. Leather is a natural material that must not dry out or become mouldy.
- Allow the armour to air dry at room temperature after each use. Never dry it near a direct heat source (radiator, fire), as the leather could crack.
- Regularly treat the leather with beeswax products or special leather oils to keep it supple and moisture-resistant.
- Store it in a dry and well-ventilated place.
For maximum comfort while wearing it, we recommend you wear a quality gambeson or at least a sturdy tunic made of natural material underneath to absorb sweat and prevent chafing.
