English Royal Medieval Shield Richard the Lionheart
This English royal shield is made of 1.2 mm thick sheet metal and is hand-painted on the front with three heraldic lions on the purple-red field. Such a coat of arms was used between 1198 and 1369 by many English medieval monarchs.
