Viking Long Bladed Hewing Spear Head

2x

This unsharpened Long Bladed Heawing Spear Head is made of high carbon steel. Spears such as these were used by Vikings for their great thrusting and cutting ability. Although we do not know the exact form and shape of the Viking hewing spear, we do know that they were used. Hank Reinhardt designed this spear based on his own experience. This is a spear that would thrust effectively, and yet have the power to cut decisively.  Slim and attractive, it is just the spear to carry on your next medieval outing. More information...

Hefty, once mounted on a shaft, quite heavy. It will rust pretty quickly. Received unsharpened. Over all, nicely made. For the price of the spear, it is a steal.
