This classic leaf-shaped spearhead is handmade of carbon steel. This simple but highly efficient shape was common from classical antiquity to the late Middle Ages and later. The sides or edges of the spearhead are not sharpened, but the tip is quite sharp.

Speerkopf mit Tücken Eins vorab, die zwei Sterne Abzug nur für die bauartbedingte Einsatzbeschränkung. Die Güte des Stahls entspricht dem Preis, die Verarbeitung ist einfach aber nicht schlecht. Lediglich der Tüllenrand war bei meinem Exemplar schräg geschliffen. Da es sich um eine Replika nach historischem Vorbild handelt hat man sich sicher früher bei der Montage ähnlich bemüht wie ich... Der Konus am Schaft ist derart zierlich das der Kopf bei den ersten Würfen seitlich abknickt. Habe bei der zweiten Montage den Konus von innen mit einem eingesetzten langen 6 mm Nagel verstärkt und auf weitere Würfe verzichtet. Reine Stichwaffe! Kein Wurf- oder Hiebspeer! Sonst tolles Teil
