Black Templar Tunic
While white mantles were reserved for noble knights, black (or brown) was the color of the sergeants and serving brothers of the Templar Order. These men formed the backbone of the order's army, fighting as light cavalry or infantry, their courage rivaling that of the knights. This black long-sleeved cotton tunic with a sewn-on red cross is a faithful reconstruction of their attire. It is an ideal choice for historical reenactment, LARP, or for a character who values practicality over pomp. Further product information ...

Black Templar Tunic – Sergeant's Surcoat (Cotton)
Symbol of Service and Devotion
The tunic is made of sturdy cotton canvas, with a texture reminiscent of historical fabrics. A distinctive red cross pattée is sewn onto the chest, clearly identifying the wearer as a warrior of Christ. Long sleeves provide protection against both sun and cold. The cut is designed for combat – deep slits in the front and back allow unrestricted leg movement for running, lunging, and riding.
