Lucerne hammer, hand-forged
The Lucerne Hammer, also named Falcon's Beak, was used between the 14th and 16th century. It is a special form oft the war hammer, which combines three weapons at once: a point for thrusting, a hammer with pointy or sharp edges and a curved spike, also called beak. Lucerne hammer, hand-forged
This replica is based on original findings from the 16th century. It is a rather simple construction with a punched spike, a slitted shaft mount and a split hammer. Due to better dispatch the lucerne hammer is delivered without shaft. We recommend ash wood. The original has a total length of 195 cm.
