The stainless steel blade is highly resistant to corrosion, yet we still recommend wiping off fingerprints with a soft cloth after every handling, as human sweat is naturally acidic. Occasionally conserve the blade with a thin layer of high-quality gun oil. The metal decorations on the handle and the plastic scabbard simply need to be gently wiped with a dry duster. Strictly avoid the use of harsh cleaning agents or abrasive polishing pastes, which could permanently destroy the coloured enamel of the cross and the artificial gold patina on the knight relief.
