How to Care for Your Horn Spoon (Important!)
To ensure your spoon serves you well for a long time, you must follow a few rules. Horn is a natural material!
Recommended Care:
- Wash the spoon by hand only in lukewarm water with mild soap.
- Dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth immediately after washing.
- It is ideal for cold and lukewarm foods (soups, porridges, salads) and mixing drinks (water, beer, mead).
What to Avoid at All Costs!
- NEVER put it in a dishwasher. The hot water will destroy it.
- NEVER put it in a microwave.
- Do not expose it to extreme heat – do not use it for cooking or for boiling hot foods.
- Do not leave it soaking in water or in highly acidic liquids for long periods.
- Not suitable for drinks with an alcohol content above 20%.
