Intimidating Design and Construction Details
The helmet is crafted from mild steel with a thickness of approximately 1 mm to 1.2 mm (approx. 18-19 gauge). Its shape is based on classic conical helmets, which deflect blows well, but it is heavily modified for fantasy aesthetics. The dominant feature is the faceplate stylized into the shape of a human skull. The eye slits are wide and bordered by steel bands, providing you with relatively good visibility, while the lower part of the mask protects your face with a row of menacing-looking steel teeth.
The structure is reinforced with steel bands that cross at the crown and are firmly riveted with brass rivets. These rivets not only increase structural strength but also create an interesting visual contrast against the dark metal. The finish has a slightly "battle-worn" look, adding to the authenticity of your character.
For your comfort, the interior of the helmet is equipped with an adjustable leather suspension liner, allowing you to customize the fit so the helmet sits securely on your head. A sturdy chin strap ensures the helmet stays in place even during vigorous movement.

Psychology of the Mask in History and Fantasy
Although this is a fantasy product, the concept of face masks on helmets has deep historical roots. Warriors ranging from ancient Rome and Cuman raiders to Japanese Samurai (with their Mempo masks) used masks for protection, but primarily for psychological warfare. An emotionless face, a grinning demon, or in this case a bare skull, strips the warrior of humanity and makes them appear immortal and invulnerable in the eyes of the enemy. This helmet continues this tradition, bringing it into the realm of fantasy.

Helmet Care
To ensure your helmet lasts a long time and does not rust, it requires regular maintenance. Steel is susceptible to moisture (including sweat).
- Wipe the helmet dry with a cloth after each use.
- Store it in a dry place.
- Regularly treat metal parts with oil (e.g., WD-40 or gun oil).
- Treat the leather liner and strap occasionally with a leather care product to prevent cracking.
Recommended Accessories
For maximum comfort while wearing, we recommend getting a padded arming cap (coif) to wear underneath, which will not only increase comfort but also stabilize the helmet on your head and absorb sweat.
