Construction and Design

- Blade: The gently curved blade is forged from carbon steel. It is ground, but for safety reasons, it is not sharpened to a knife's edge. Its primary purpose is for decoration, costumes, and non-contact use in historical re-enactments.

To keep your sabre looking its best for a long time, give it the proper care. The carbon steel blade is susceptible to rust, so be sure to regularly treat it with a thin layer of gun oil or another preservative oil. The brass parts of the hilt can be polished from time to time with a suitable metal polish to maintain their shine. Protect the sabre from moisture and do not expose it to adverse weather conditions.
