Besagews, Rondels (Pair), 1.2 mm Steel
The flower-shaped, slightly concave besagews we offer here are made of 1.2 mm (18 gauge) steel. The back of each rondel is blackened for better corrosion resistance, and equipped with a securely riveted, pre-punched leather strap for proper attachment to a plate armour, pauldrons, or a mail shirt (the required cords are not included in the scope of delivery).
These steel rondels are ideal for late medieval and Renaissance settings. Equally suited for the portrayal of a broad array of historical figures and fictional/fantasy characters, it will make your transformation into a proud, noble knight or warrior just perfect, whether used for medieval re-enactment, LARP, stage, TV/film, costuming or cosplay.

The steel used here is not rust-proof and might show slight surface tarnishing in places. We recommend you to maintain plate armour on a regular basis, for example using WD40 or Ballistol Universal Oil, which is ideally suited for steel care.
