How to Install the Handle

Installation is straightforward, as four matching rustic-head screws are already included in the package. Place the handle on the door or gate, align it to the desired position, and mark the location of the four mounting holes with a pencil. For wooden doors, we recommend pre-drilling pilot holes with a drill bit thinner than the screw's diameter to prevent the wood from splitting. Then, firmly screw the handle in place using the provided screws.

How to Care for the Handle

The handle's surface is treated with a traditional oil-blackened finish, making it very resistant to weathering. For regular maintenance, simply wipe the handle with a dry or slightly damp cloth. To restore the protective layer and revive its appearance, especially when used outdoors, you can occasionally (for example, once a year) wipe the surface with linseed oil or beeswax.

Important Note: This handle is primarily designed as a decorative pull handle. Although it is made of solid steel, do not use it as a load-bearing safety or support element (e.g., as a stair rail handle).
