Maintenance and Specifics of Natural Horn
Since this is a product made of natural horn, we must acquaint you with the specific care rules for this material. We recommend washing garments with these buttons only gently by hand and definitely keeping them out of the tumble dryer. It would lead to the destruction of the product if the customer washed it in a dishwasher or heated it in a microwave. Although serving liquids is certainly not an issue with buttons, it generally applies to our horn products that beverages such as beer, mead, wine, water, and not overly acidic soft drinks are suitable to be served in it, but hot drinks and liquids with an alcohol content over 20% are completely unsuitable. The horn is treated on the inside with a food-safe resin lacquer. Regularly rub these buttons with a little beeswax so the material does not dry out and retains its beautiful natural shine.

When sewing on the buttons, ensure a very secure attachment so that they do not tear off and get lost during combat at a LARP event or when moving swiftly through a dense forest.
