Compact Damascus Hunter Dalbergia with Indian Rosewood Handle
A Durable Companion with a Damascus Soul
This knife is made using integral technology (Full-Tang). This means the steel runs through the entire length of the knife to the end of the handle, lending it maximum strength and resistance to breakage. The blade was created by forge-welding two types of steel: high-carbon steel 1075 and tough alloy steel 4340. The result is a material that not only holds an edge excellently but is also flexible. The pattern on the blade is created by etching, where each layer of steel colors differently.
The handle features scales made of Sheesham wood (Dalbergia sissoo – Indian Rosewood). This wood is prized for its hardness, durability, and beautiful, rich color. Notice the detail in the form of red fiber liners between the wood and the steel, which absorb shocks and aesthetically elevate the knife. You will receive a sturdy genuine leather sheath with the knife, stitched with thick thread and secured by a strap with a snap button decorated with a star, so the knife won't fall out even when running.

Important Maintenance Warning
As a metal expert, I must warn you: The Damascus steel used on this knife contains a high percentage of carbon. This gives it great cutting ability, but unlike modern stainless steels, it is not corrosion-resistant. You must take care of the knife.
- Never wash the knife in a dishwasher!
- After use (especially after cutting fruit, meat, or onions), rinse the knife, dry it immediately, and treat the blade with a thin layer of oil (e.g., camellia oil, gun oil, or even cooking oil if you use the knife for food).
- Occasionally rub the wooden handle with beeswax or linseed oil to prevent it from drying out and to maintain its luster.
The Dalbergia knife is an excellent choice for mushroom pickers, hikers, and hunters looking for a compact but powerful tool with a traditional appearance.
