The blade of the Damascus knife consists of 71 layers of stainless steel, the core layer is made from steel 8Cr13MoV, also stainless. The bolster is also made of Damascus steel. Locking takes place by means of classical Lockback.

The steel blade of this Damascus knife a result of the Hi-Tec Powder Metallurgy. The steel is produced under immense pressure and temperature. The solid steel is finally forged. Although the knife is largely the result of the machine- production, the last manufacturing operations are in the hand of experienced cutlers. Each knife goes during the final inspection through hands and under strict eyes of quality inspectors. Only with such a combination of machine-production and human labour could a knife with such a high price-performance ratio come into existence!
The protective wooden case, in which is the product packaged, comes free of charge.
