Leather Care And Important Warnings

High-quality leather requires regular care to maintain its unique properties. From the factory, the boots are gently treated with a beeswax balm. Regularly grease them with cobbler's oil or a high-quality leather balm. This softens the material, partially prevents moisture penetration, and gives the leather a natural, slightly darker patina. Minor scratches can easily be covered with brown shoe polish. If the footwear gets wet at an event, stuff it with old newspaper and let it dry very slowly at room temperature. Under no circumstances should you dry the boots on a radiator, near a blazing campfire, or in harsh direct sunlight! Rapid drying would irreversibly harden and crack the leather. Also, pay special attention to walking with the elongated toe, especially on stairs.
