This gothic bliaut was worn in 11th and 12th century. It consists of two parts, from a overtunic and a undertunic. Out model from velvet is decorated with embroidered trimming. The sleeves of the overtunic are lined with brocade. They can be lined with fake fur on request. The metal belt is not included in delivery but can be ordered separately. An overtunic called a bliaut came into fashion during 11th century, and was worn by both men and women. The word comes from the German blialt, meaning cloth. The bliaut was usually shorter than the chainse, the undertunic worn with it, and had wider sleeves.
