This bag was modelled on a specimen from the High Gothic period. The flap is decorated in a decent manner with two stars that are sewn onto the flap over the reinforced edges of the star. The leather belt pouch decorated with two stars is worn on the belt. The belt is simply threaded under the loops. After the flap is opened the flap is intertwined with the loops to make sure that the bag will not slide off the belt. It fits the belt's width of up to 4 cm. The bag'sflap is closed with a simple knot.
Besides the colour shown in the picture the belt pouch is available in other colours: see the choice of colour. We recommended it especially to fans of living history and fans of history in general.
Please note: This product is made by hand from genuine leather. This is a purely natural material. Minor differences in the colour and surface texture are its natural characteristics. These small imperfections do not decrease the value of the product. Each piece is to some extent an original.
In the case of hand-forged blades, our blacksmith takes the already rolled spring steel and forges it by hand on the anvil or under the drop hammer. The steel gets more solid (denser) by forging. In the case of industrially rolled spring steel blades, the sheets of steel plate is cut to strips under drop snips, then ground or milled and immediately forged into the annealing furnace and oil-quenched. The properties of both kinds of steels are not very different, since industrial rolling is already very good! On forged blades are usually blacksmith marks, which give them an authentic and unique look.
