Safe Aluminum Blade
The blade is made of lightweight yet strong aluminum with a polished finish. It is, of course, completely blunt (edge thickness approx. 1.2 mm), which ensures maximum safety during handling. Aluminum is ideal for training weapons as it is lightweight, facilitating long training sessions, while also being corrosion-resistant and requiring no complex maintenance.
Hilt and Modern Guard
The hilt (tsuka) is carefully wrapped in high-quality, deep brown leather. This wrapping provides a firm, stable, and comfortable grip that won't slip even during dynamic practice. The simple yet robust squared guard (tsuba) and pommel are made of stainless steel, giving the sword excellent balance.
Scabbard in the Shirasaya Aesthetic
Included is a wooden scabbard (saya) in a natural light wood color, its appearance referencing the traditional Japanese shirasaya mountings used to store valuable blades. The scabbard is fitted with a burgundy ribbon (sageo) and metal components protecting its mouth and tip.

Intended Use
