Modern Damascus and a Stainless Steel Core
The blade of this knife utilizes a modern sandwich construction that merges stunning aesthetics with maximum functionality. The central (core) layer is made of high-quality 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, guaranteeing excellent sharpness and wear resistance. This core layer is clad on both sides with a total of 71 layers of damascus steel, which, after etching, creates a fascinating and completely unique wavy pattern on the surface. The exact same damascus pattern adorns the bolsters, giving the knife an exceptionally cohesive and premium character.
Classic Opening and Reliable Backlock
The knife is designed in a traditional gentleman's style. There is a classic nail nick on the blade, allowing for comfortable and safe two-handed opening. As soon as you fully open the blade, the massive Backlock engages with a clear and satisfying click. This proven locking mechanism is extremely reliable and safely prevents the knife from accidentally closing during use, thereby protecting your fingers from injury.
Crucial Safety Warning
Always bear in mind that this knife comes from the factory extremely sharp! Exercise heightened caution when opening, and especially when disengaging the Backlock and subsequently closing the blade. Store the tool in a dry, safe place, well out of the reach of children.
