How to Care for Your Boots
To ensure your leather boots serve you for as long as possible and look great:
- We strongly recommend waterproofing them with a quality leather care product before first use to protect them from moisture and dirt.
- After each event, clean them of coarse dirt (mud, dust) with a soft brush or a damp cloth.
- Never dry the boots near a direct heat source (radiator, fireplace, direct sunlight). This could cause the leather to crack. Let them air dry at room temperature.
- To speed up drying, you can stuff them with newspaper, which will absorb the moisture.
- Regularly treat the leather with a balm or grease. This will keep it supple, durable, and extend its lifespan.
- Avoid machine washing or prolonged soaking.
