Origin and Proper Wear

Although this is a fantasy product inspired by J. R. R. Tolkien's famous universe, the design draws on historical leather forearm guards, which were commonly used across many centuries as a lightweight, supple, and accessible form of armour. The deep embossing on the leather features the legendary White Tree of Gondor surrounded by seven stars – an ancient symbol of the royal lineage, loyalty, and hope. The bracers are simply slipped onto the forearm and tightened using a sturdy leather cord laced through holes on the inside of the arm. Thanks to their elongated and pointed shape, which extends to protect part of the elbow on the outer side, they offer excellent coverage without restricting your wrist in its natural movement.

Care and Safety

To keep the buffalo leather supple and strong for a long time, we recommend regularly treating it with a natural beeswax-based balm or specialised leather oil. Protect the bracers from prolonged moisture and never dry them on a direct heat source, such as a radiator or an open fire. The leather could harden, become brittle, and crack due to rapid drying. Remember, my friend, that this is protective gear primarily designed for light LARP combat and theatrical use; it is not a certified functional armour for hard full-contact fighting with metal weapons.

These fantasy bracers pair perfectly with a padded gambeson, a linen or cotton tunic, and a wide leather belt with a brass buckle. For the ultimate look of a Ranger of the North or a Gondorian soldier, do not hesitate to complement them with leather gloves and a cloak fastened with an elven leaf-shaped brooch. These accessories will find their place in most fantasy worlds inspired by the European Middle Ages (10th to 15th century).
