This tankard is a true masterpiece full of details. The central motif is the sculpted face of an old Viking warrior with a helmet and braided beard, behind which two battle axes are crossed. The sides of the tankard are adorned with a relief of the legendary Thor's hammer – Mjölnir, surrounded by intricate Celtic knots. The handle is shaped like the prow of a Viking ship (longship) with a dragon head biting into the rim of the cup. The bottom edge is lined with a row of round shields, ready to form a shield wall.

The biggest advantage of this model is the removable stainless steel insert. While ordinary resin tankards have the metal part glued in permanently, here you can easily remove it. This allows you to wash the insert thoroughly (even in the dishwasher) without risking damage to the decorative resin part.

How to Care for This Gem

Thanks to the removable interior, maintenance is easy, but please follow these rules:

• Washing: Remove the stainless steel insert and wash it in any way you like (it is dishwasher safe). Wipe the decorative polyresin outer shell only with a damp cloth. Never soak it in water or put it in the dishwasher – the hand painting would be damaged.
• Temperature: The stainless steel insert can withstand cold and hot drinks. Do not expose the polyresin shell itself to extreme temperatures or direct heat sources.
• Microwave: Metal does not belong in a microwave oven.
• Handling: When inserting the liner back into the tankard, ensure it sits correctly. Handle the outer shell with care; the resin can chip if dropped on a hard floor.
