The foundation of the knife is a blade formed by 71 layers of stainless Damascus steel. To ensure the knife is not only beautiful to look at but also functional and sharp, its cutting core is made of high-quality 8Cr13MoV steel. This combination guarantees excellent cutting properties and durability. A true treat for the eyes is the fact that the bolster (front part of the handle) is also made of Damascus steel, creating a seamless visual transition from the blade to the handle.

The scales are crafted from Ebony wood. Ebony is one of the hardest and densest woods in the world, prized for its deep dark colour and fine texture. The handle is finished with a decorated back spring (file work), a detail that every knife connoisseur will appreciate. Your safety is ensured by the classic Backlock mechanism, which reliably secures the blade in the open position.

Care and Maintenance

This knife is built to last for generations, but it requires proper care:

• Cleaning: Wipe the knife only with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Never wash it in a dishwasher!
• Wood Care: Ebony is hard, but like any wood, it can dry out. Occasionally treat the scales with a drop of natural oil (e.g., linseed oil).
• Mechanism: To maintain smooth operation, occasionally apply a drop of oil to the blade pivot and the lock.
