The aiglets are conically shaped and hollow inside, making them perfectly suited for both textile and leather laces. For reliable attachment, trim the end of your cord so it does not fray and insert it into the hollow of the aiglet. In the upper (wider) part of the casting, there is a small mounting hole. It is necessary to firmly sew the cord through this hole using a linen or strong cotton thread. This ensures that the aiglet will not slip off the lace even during sudden movements in a fencing duel.
